Wat Phra Phai Luang

This is the largest temple complex outside of the city walls and dates to the late 12th century when it was built during the reign of the great Khmer king, Jayavarman VII.

Wat Si Chum

The mandapa located in the center of the complex was built by King Maha Thammaracha II in the late 14th century.  Inside is a huge seated Buddha, 15 meters high, called “Phra Achana”.
