The Canals of Venice

Venice is a city in northeastern Italy, made up of a group of 118 small islands.  These islands are separated by 150 canals and connected by over 400 bridges and walkways.

The largest of these canals is the Grand Canal. The reverse S-shaped waterway is 2.4 miles (3.8 Km) long.
