Put the Fun Between Your Legs

July 11, 2018, Florence, Italy

What is the best way to experience the Chianti wine region of Florence?  By bicycle of course. This was yet another highlight (of many) during our trip to Italy a couple summers ago.

We met up with our group in the morning and took a short drive out of town arriving at Castello di Poppiano.

After some wine and olive oil tasting and a tour of the winery, we set out on a 13 mile bike tour.

At the end of the day, we returned to Castello di Poppiano and took the van back to the city.  The driver was nice enough to let us out at Piazzale Michelangelo which saved us a walk up another big hill.

Here is the website for the company we used. They also have several other tours available including scooters and cars.  We would definitely use them again. Professional and knowledgeable.
