Yu Yuan Lantern Fair

Spring Festival 2018  Yuyuan Gardens, Shanghai

After so many gloomy overcast (and cold) days we woke up one morning to sunshine and decided to head downtown.  As we stepped onto the metro we thought we had entered the twilight zone.  Where were the crowds?  Where were the people?

Everyone is at Yu Yaun for the Lantern Fair.

All around the market/shopping area there are hanging lanterns and lantern displays.
