This is one of the oldest temples in the city and dates back to late 12th or early 13th century.

It began as a Hindu shrine for Vishnu before the liberation from Lawo and the founding of the Sukhothai Kingdom. The temple consisted of three Khmer-style prangs and the assembly halls were added after it was converted to a Theravada Buddhist temple in the 14th century.

You are able to enter the prangs but the only thing you’ll find inside are a lot of irritated bats.
