I am really glad that our new apartment is within walking distance of work.  Here is a look at my morning commute.

We have this great little enclosed porch for shoes and coats.  Then it is down the lift or stairs and out through the lobby.

                 

The complex is HUGE but very quiet and park like.

Really the apartment is not that far from the school but it is a little bit of a round about way to get there.  Once school starts they will open a side gate which should save about 5 minutes.  After we get bikes it should only take 10 minutes or less.

I SO love our new neighborhood.
