It may not be the easiest place to get to, but the Aston on Gili T was a great place to spend 3 of our days during our Lombok trip, in March.

And the pool bar wasn’t bad either.

Gili T is one of three small islands located between Bali and Lombok.  There are no cars or motorbikes on the island, which leaves you with bikes and horses. We took a fastboat out to the island and then found a horse cart.

Our hotel was on the far side of the island, with great views of Bali.

After all the sightseeing, the four days before, we were happy to just relax and enjoy the beach.

Yes the water is a crystal clear blue-green and bathtub warm.

One day we borrowed bikes, from the hotel, found a deserted stretch of beach, and got our snorkels on.

The sunburns were totally worth it.
